Archbishop Carrol High School

The Archbishop Carroll high school is a premier Christian day school located in Washington DC.  This outstanding school provides an excellent academic curriculum while preparing its students for promising careers as Christian professionals. In addition, the staff provides superior learning support as they guide each of their students to become the best that they can be.

 

The Archbishop Carroll high school is an integrated and coeducational school accepting students from all ethnic backgrounds. Moreover, this school was ahead of its time by abolishing segregation before the Supreme Court in 1955.  The school currently provides education to over 600 students.  Each student is prepared to enroll in higher education. The Archbishop Carroll high school has a 100% college acceptance rate for its graduating students, and their graduates receive high and scholarships for their academic excellence. 

 

Within the Washington DC area, ACHS is a Roman Catholic high school.  In its school history, other diocese schools merged into the Archbishop Carroll high school. As a result, the students receive ample instruction in religion and spiritual life.  The students grow spiritually in their faith and also take fundamental courses into the doctrines of the Bible.  All around, the students receive exceptional nurture, preparation, and experiences that prepare them to be the people God is calling them to be.

 

Furthermore, ACHS has a writing center that helps develop creative writing skills.  This center has designed a workshop that visits local grade schools to help cultivate writing skills and all students, whether they are in Archbishop Carroll high school or not. In addition, the school produces a literary magazine called, “So shall it be written.”  This school goes above and beyond the standard writing requirements but gives each student the cutting edge and creative writing performance.  Christian day schools is glad to present the Archbishop Carroll high school as a premier school of choice.
